Search Engine Rankings Via Article Marketing

One of an internet marketers many tasks is to write and submit articles. These articles in and of themselves can bring a good amount of traffic for as long as the article directory keeps the article posted. The articles can also help boost your websites search engine ranking by leaving a weighted anchor link in the resource box.

There are many things you can do to ensure you get the most out of your article marketing campaign. Here are a few tips to help you out.

When I write articles now, I try to make sure that I only submit one unique article to each article directory rather than the same article to many different ones. When you do this, Google it seems will index all of the fresh content and won't count the ones that are the same. So if I submit one article to EzineArticles and the same article to GoArticles, they will only count the first one I submitted. Now if I write two articles on the same subject and then submit them, Google should count both of them giving you two quality back links.

That brings me to my next point, the authors resource box. This is the area at the end of the article where you generally leave some information about what to do next. Here you want to set a call of action for the reader. You want to make that person informed about where they can go for more information. Usually you are limited to just a few sentences and no more.

The one thing you need to do here is to leave a link back to your website so people can visit it. If you have the opportunity to leave a hyper link using the a href html code, you definitely should do so. Be sure to link back to a relevant page using the same keywords as the ones on your page you are linking to.

Using the hyper or anchor link may be one of the most beneficial aspects of article marketing. For every article you submit and use an anchor link, that anchor link will really provide 'juice' to boosting your web pages up the search engine rankings. So if I am trying to rank for specific keywords on my website, I'll want to write multiple articles using the same keywords in my anchor link.

If you haven't used article marketing to do this and are disappointed with the traffic you are getting from the search engines, you just have to try this out. It really works and you can monitor the results and watch your website climb up the rankings. The more articles you submit, the higher your website will rank.
