The more the merrier I would say. Make sure your articles are high quality articles though. You don't want to be the author of poor articles. Especially not if you intend to establish yourself as an expert in a given field. If you intend to do article marketing full-time I would say that 10 articles a day would be a fair amount. I try to aim for 2 articles an hour, however, that also includes posts on various blogs.

At some point when you get off the ground you can definitely consider outsourcing your articles. What you're essentially doing when you're outsourcing is buying time to do other things. Hopefully, the time saved will be spent doing other more important things for your business. I have to say that this is a topic that is worth it's own article, if not a whole series of articles. However, a good article actually gives the reader something.
